Plage de la Datcha,LGR - Guadeloupe
One of the most popular beaches in Guadeloupe, La Datcha’s cream-colored sand is shaded by tropical trees and lapped by a calm, coral-protected sea. You could easily swim across to the small Gosier Island, or simply relax on the shore and take in the view — especially the majestic mountain range of Basse-Terre in the distance. Plage de la Datcha is located opposite the Gosier islet and is very vibrant with lively cafés and beach bars near by that serve cool refreshments to swimmers, while boats drift lazily on the turquoise water.
